Care Volunteers

KTZ 4 KEEPS, INC., a 501 (c)3) non-profit rescue for abandoned and unwanted felines, is looking for volunteers, 18 years and older, to assist in caring for our rescued kittens and mature cats. The time required is approximately 1-1 ½ hours once, or twice, a week either in the morning or in the evening. Volunteers can choose to work either shift. All supplies are provided.

  Morning cleaning “start” times throughout the week are as early as:

•   7 a.m. Monday through Friday
•  8 a.m. Saturday
•  9 a.m. Sunday

 Evening cleaning “start” times throughout the week are:

•  5:45 Monday through Friday
•  3:45 Saturday and Sunday

 Responsibilities include:

•  Vacuuming the cages
•  Wiping the inside of the cages
•  Changing, if necessary, the linens and rugs
•  Replenishing dry food (wet, if appropriate) and water
•  Petting and loving

  Requirements:

•   Love of, and respect for, kittens and mature cats
•  Good communication skills (be able to talk with prospective owners)
•  Discipline to show up on time (schedules are provided)
•  Cleanliness
