ADOPTION DAY!!!!!

Katz 4 Keeps, has an established adoption fee of $115.00 for our cats. ($15.00 of this fee covers the cost of the microchip which is normally $55.00 + through other sources.)

We are very proud of the fact that every cat that enters Katz 4 Keeps is given a thorough medical evaluation followed by all age-appropriate medical care. All cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and intestinal parasites. We use an outside lab for diagnosis of parasites and any health issues of concern. Our felines receive their FVRCP, leukemia and rabies shots, preventive worming, flea treatment, baths, and microchip. All females are spayed and males are neutered at the appropriate age (or weight). This medical attention, combined with a stellar environment that includes pristine cages, toys and food far exceed the established adoption fee. Outside of the cage cost ($200 each), toys and food costs, the above-noted expenses, if paid for by an adopting individual, would be in excess of $750 (spay cost is approximately $250).

We are pleased to be able to charge this fee of $115. We hope you will agree with us and realize we do it with our mission in mind; that is, to rescue abandoned and unwanted felines and medically, physically and emotionally rehabilitate them in preparation for the “4-Ever Homes. “
