Just wanted to drop you a quick email to let you know how well crouton is adjusting to her new life in Baltimore - she is very happy and we are getting along wonderfully. She truly is everything I was looking for - she is such a sweetheart, my roommate and I love her very, very much. Thank you for the additional pictures, it's fun to see how much she's grown already! I will certainly stay in touch, but I just wanted you to know how thankful I am for your efforts. I love waking up each morning knowing that little crouton will be there to enjoy the day with - and that would most definitely not be possible if not for your work - thank you!

Hi Mary,
Hope all is well with you and all the puppycats. I stopped in a few weeks ago and looked at your babies – so sweet. I hope they all get good homes soon. Today is the one year anniversary for Mindigo (Tabetha) and me. Boy, has the time flown – I can remember bringing her home and her two hour survey of the house and then coming in and getting up on the bed with me at 9 and then settling in to sleep with me. She’s a darling animal – sweet, easy going and so good natured and has fit in perfectly. I gave her some special lovins this morning and wished her happy anniversary. Take care and thank you for my two special girls.

Hi Mary:
Max had his checkup today and the vet was very cute with him. After checking him out from top to bottom - literally - she announced that we had a "perfect cat" . We thought so but it was nice to hear it from a professional. You really did a great job with him and we're delighted to have him as part of our lives. He is warming up to Fred more and more and he loves washing Hampton's ears, although he does it for a few licks and then bites him!
Thanks again for our young friend. You'll have to stop by at some point to see him as I haven't mastered the picture thing.
Sandy
P.S. He weighed in a 10.5 lbs and had his shot. Dr. Cleary was delighted to have all the papers you gave us from his previous shots, etc. so she has a complete history on him.

Just wanted to let you know that Benny, now known as Rico, is going in today to get his follow up shots. We just love him and I have to say I have never had a kitty as sweet and loving as this little guy is! Our oldest daughter just adores him. He sleeps with her every night! Thank you for what you do and we will certainly spread the word about your kitties in need of homes!
Thanks again!

Max has totally adopted us - including Fred - and nobody is happier than Fred! It took some time but now if Fred says "Where's Max", he appears . . from a nap, different room, etc. He has grown so much but still looks little compared to Hampton. We put a collar on him as we are heading to our Long Island house later this week for two weeks and I want him to be used to it before we go. We put a tag on each cat with the phone number (and name) where we are headed so if something unforeseen happens, we can be reached. I'm not sure how the car ride will go for Max but all of our other cats have adapted pretty well and seem to know that it is okay as long as we are with them. Obviously they each have a cage so they won't escape and we keep them in the cages until we get in the hotel room - or the house. I'll let you know when we get back how Max likes the car. He adapts to everything else pretty well - including the collar - so he should be fine. Thanks again for giving us a wonderful pet. I'm sure he is happy you saved him from the wild. Keep up the good work on the cat rescues . . we have a winner. Sandy Owen
I am spreading the word about your cat gig at Pet Doctors ! – Ann O’Reilly
Hi Mary, we are all doing fine. Mindigo (Tabetha) has settled in very nicely. She and Oleana get along very well and seem to be good company for one another. They are forever chasing each other around and then wrestling. I think Amberleigh is now very glad to have another sister; it means that Oleana pretty much leaves her alone now. Mindigo is very easy going, loving and a great pastry chef. She is forever making her mama biscuits. I have kept her on the Purina One Healthy Diet food and she has probably lost some weight. I don’t imagine she put it on all at once, so this will be a slow, steady process. Were you ever able to get Churchill adopted? I will give my girls kisses from you. Oleana really is a delight and I love her more and more. Again, I have to say that anyone who passed her up just because she was black missed out on a terrific little one!!
Mary,
I’ve been at my computer this morning and as usual, Bandit has plopped himself down (sometimes right on top of the keyboard) on my desk. I just had to let you know how wonderful he is. The kids often say how sweet and well-adjusted he has become (they take full credit). He started out as such a little rascal (as we know, he wasn’t raised by you) and now he is the first one to look for attention as soon as we sit down or walk in the door. He has very little voice – he chirps more than meows and he doesn’t have Fergie’s jumping ability or balance. Lucky for her! It’s her only defense when Bandit wants to play. She runs for the kitchen stools to escape. We all read the recent article about your sweet teen volunteers – so nice to hear that all is well. Thank you for our precious cats!! – Devon Witt
Hey Mary….
I hope this finds you doing well this wonderful Thursday, November 19, 2009. I wanted to send you a quick message and photo so you can see my boys Sherman and Cole and how wonderful they look at two years old. I was folding laundry and they always want to be in the same room if not near whatever I might be doing. As you can see, Sherman decided he needed to lie on the warm towel and Cole followed suit. Yes, today is their birthday; it is so hard to believe. They are both doing great and just as loving if not more than the day I brought them home. You would be so proud of them both. Baby Cole plays, runs and walks like a champ-he would actually crack you up if you could see him running like a bull around the house. Sherman is truly his momma’s boy and stays by my side when I’m at home. I hope you are doing well and Katz 4 Keeps is still thriving and making people happy just like me. Enjoy the picture. Have a great week and stay in touch.
Love…Sherri, Rich, Sherman and Cole
Hi Mary!
It's Eunice. Sorry I took so long getting back to you. Ellie and Marcus are getting along great. If Ellie is hiding somewhere, Marcus cries for her, and vice versa. It seems as though they are attached at the hip. I don't work at Ace anymore so I haven't had a chance to bring Ellie by to see you. I actually got a job at Ponte Vedra Animal Hospital, so Ellie will be getting all of her exams and such there.
Me and Matt love Ellie to death. She is such a sweet girl. She has completely opened up to us (including Marcus).
Thanks for checking up on us! We'll keep in touch.
Eunice
Mary,
Here are a few pictures of the kittens. Sharky (Georgia) has quite the tail and has more white/gray in her coat now. Princess Star (Sabrina) is sleek and sits and lays just like a royal queen, really, I will need a picture to show you. They are both so loveable and attentive. Princess Star plays fetch with her favorite toy with Pretoria. Sharky is so relaxed that Tyler can carry her like a baby, they both loved to have their belly's rubbed. They are a true pair, they go all around the house together, romping and playing for hours, they sleep with us every night and we all have a nice routine down.
They learned how to turn the kitchen faucet on to get their own water, but they haven't quite figured out how to turn it off yet... :) we have a rubber band around the handle when we go to work so we won't come back to a flood.
Anyway, I hope you are well. I passed along your email and # to a friend who is looking to adopt a kitten. I told her that your agency is the only place I would ever consider using. I have never had cats that are sweeter with children than these two. I have also nick named then lynk and lion (you can see why from the pics)
Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
Fondly, Jessica Richardson
